Access Platforms from One Place
I unified previously disparate platforms into a cohesive ecosystem of Cisco software.
I was the first designer to design for a consolidated platform app launcher and worked closely with our Design Director to incorporate the mission of the CX Cloud to serve as a central point for all of Cisco applications.
As Cisco grows its portfolio, customers experience more friction with integrations and cross-launching. To combat the growing pains, I designed a suite experience similar to Adobe and Google’s launchpads.
In order to anticipate buy-in from cross-platform stakeholders, I designed integrations where customers can see a brief summary of key notifications from each platform. In the launcher, we obtain cohesion and make foundational steps towards forming and bonding the Cisco ecosystem.
I expanded on the feature and pre-emptively redesigned it for a future release.
Since I designed the first version of the platform launcher and the product was going through a re-design at the time, I planned ahead and created a future-verison. The platform launcher’s capabilities would continue to expand, so I created a more scalable and global design for all the apps.
